If it's his grades then I totally understand but if it's simply to make room for another wishy-washy recruit that can't freaking make his mind up until the last minute, then this really SUCKS. I hope other recruits aren't affected by something like this. One week to go and you pretty much destroy a teenager's dreams that has been committed to LSU all along, f@cking Les.

It is grades. Funny how you say if it is grades you understand. But than go on rampage about miles. Lsu is worried he won't make grades.

I talked to someone very close to the situation yesterday. On the official visit this past weekend, him and his mom were told they had nothing to worry about. Got a call yesterday from lsu asking him to gray shirt because they don't think he will qualify. Word from the denham program is he will qualify without a doubt. Hopefully it all works out. If they do ask him to though, I feel for the kid. Guy bleeds purple and gold.

We can't sign people that aren't going to qualify. It fricks us going forward.
High school isn't hard. Maybe if these kids wouldn't dig themselves into ridiculous holes by fricking off for two and a half years they wouldn't run into these issues.

I agree to an extent, but grades have been in question for at least a couple of months. You don't wait until a week before signing day to ask him to grey shirt. I mean they just saw him face to face on a visit and could've told him. Instead, they let his high school coach break the news.

Grades have been in question way longer than that. He's had a lot of time to get them up.
