I think LSU has some good guys in Jim and Dan. To me an LSU football game just doesn't seem right without em. Did LSU ever have better PA and radio guys like way back in the day?

My dad told me the guy before Hawthorne (forgot his name) also made terrible mistakes/missed plays. I doubt he was as negative as Jim can be though

Me and my dad had season tickets at the old box forever. I remember one time we went to a ball game and left before the end (horrible fans) and were listening on the radio on the way home. Hawthorne announced that there were guys on first and third and ust starts going off about "Where did that man on third come from? I didn't know we had anyone on base we he got that hit. I am still just unsure of where that other runner got on." Did this for about 2-3 pitches and then announced "Oh wait a minute, thats the third base coach."
