You might be able to say this about most of the recruits who ended up coming to LSU, but there are plenty out there who have chosen other schools particularly for the better education (if not solely, then this is at least a major contributing factor). Not all people are the same, they value different things (we learn this as young children). Saying Riley values certain things, just because some other people in a similar situation value them, is extremely ignorant.
If he picks Tulane over LSU for an education, there should be absolutely no anger towards the guy. If he doesn't see a future in the NFL, Tulane over LSU would probably be a very wise choice.

I thought Don Shows is all LSU. Why would Cam Robinson go to Bama? I know he transferred to West Monroe, but most of those guys have gone to LSU. Luther Davis is the only one I know of that went to Bama.
