Enough people cared about Mickey that the public basically did 3/4 of the work for the cops. Add to that the pressure that was on them 24/7 and you see what happens.

MY POINT EXACTLY. You people are making my point for me over and over again. And trust me, the cops did more than 1/4 of the legwork homeboy. Don't fool yourself into thinking that "the people" did the real work.

Hell, the guy was in front of 4 diff. LE agencies, driving the white truck all jacked up with scars and a Sex Offender charge, and being the main suspect in a unsolved murder, all within a week of the incident and he wasn't even on the cop's radar. Without "the people" he's probably still in his trailer.

But you can't look at your original post and think it's not gonna rub anyone the wrong way. I get it that you understand the real reason for the differences in the 2 cases but that's mot the way you said it at first.

Race always draws that kind of reaction. It was a troll post, but hell it's the truth.

Probabably with the tip from Adam4LSU's family this case is probably still open.

Sadly, probably very true. If it hadn't been for his "story" of how he got his stab wounds and the fact that I found out about the sex offender thing early, he would have gotten away with it. I'd say Mickey has more to do with catching him than anyone. If it weren't for her, there would have been nothing to prove it was him.

The Shunicks are wealthy? Anyway, I'll be watching. They've titled the program, "A Sister's Search," so Charlie must be featured. I can't stand that BSL has tried to take back his original plea. If the family has to go through a court case ...

There's where the difference is. Keiosha's family is covering for people and hindering the investigation. It's a messed up deal for that girl. 15 years old with a 1 yr old, neither her nor the kid have been seen, but they've got a lead on a guy that bought a cell phone that has been in contact with Keiosha. She was a ward of the state of Louisiana, personally I hope she got far far away from her family and somebody is helping her rather than harming her.

And that is kind of scary. I can't believe the media never took LE to task about how he was right in front of them.

Not really sure what they are going to show, but I've had lunch with the producer, yes. They have literally interviewed just about everyone involved with the case except for my FIL and SIL who just wish to remain anon (not sure how anon they will be after tonight)

I don't think so, but I really don't know. I do know that none of the stuff that was done was free I can tell you that much. Maybe some was donated, but it still cost money somewhere.
