Same here.
But you, and I, actually had a friend close by and we got in the wrong driveway.
IF, and I say IF, there is no friend living close by, the kids were high and they pulled 3/4 of the way into a 250' isolated driveway, then they probably were looking for a place to rob.

Unless the driver exited the vehicle with a gun in his hand or was driving toward the homeowner in an aggressive manner, the shooter is going to have a hard time justifying his actions. You can't fricking kill someone for pulling into your driveway. If he truly felt threatened by a strange car in his driveway, the homeowner should have called 911 and waited inside with his gun (where he could have killed them legally, had they actually tried to break in to his home).

From what we know right now, this is very possible.
The homeowner fired a warning shot, then shot the kid in the head. Did the kid hit the gas, lurching the car towards the homeowner?

We don't have any idea and it will play out. However, this guy escalated, if not created, the situation by going outside with a gun.
If he had stayed inside, called 911 and continued to observe; he wouldn't be in jail today. I don't know what the law is in GA, but in LA you can't shoot someone in defense of your property, it has to be in defense of life.
