So lets ban all guns because of this guy!!!! Some people are so brainwashed they are eager to give up their rights for "protection" which is such a myth. When are they going to come after a right that is dear to you? This guys should be arrested and taken to trial just like all the other criminals who kill people. Why is it all ways the "Things" fault and not the "persons" fault with Liberals?

As long as the evidence can prove your fear to be reasonable, then he is probably giving decent advice. I would talk to your criminal law professor and take his opinion over the gun instructor's.

Because they can control things. They can't control people. It's pretty simple logic.

No. It is not simple logic.

If you have a reasonable fear for your life, its great advice. Also-empty the gun into the attacker: 1. So if they are just wounded they can't get the gun away from you and use it on you 2. They are much less likely to be just wounded.

I was told, off the record if course, that if you shoot someone, make sure they are dead. If not, you have the chance of spending the rest of your life in jail and losing every single bit of your property. I wonder if you shoot someone in the back, can you just shoot them through the same hole from the front to look like they were facing you?

I was told this same thing by law enforcement official. Tell only one story. Better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6. *insert other gun saying here*

Not sure how anyone that isn't a half-wit can make the leap that he was a "gun nut"', but whatever. The old man should be brought up on murder charges. Driveways and crappy GPS units should be banned by XO with the quickness.

I'm not an ME, but I do watch Dexter and I'm pretty sure they can tell. Especially when you think about bullet trajectory and blood spatter. I'd probably just avoid shooting someone in the back - unless you can convincingly tell the investigating officer "he said he was going to the car to get the rest of the gang"
