I said this in the other thread. Think about this: If Lee Evans didn't drop the TD catch or if Cundiff didn't shank that FG, Flacco would be playing in his second consecutive Super Bowl.
Is he a better QB than Manning? No, but Flacco wins. In the end, isn't that all that matters?
Think about it. Who would rather have in a Super Bowl: Matt Ryan or Big Ben?

What talent? He has a Pro Bowl RB that they hardly ever use, he has a decent O-line but not spectacular, and no one here is going to say that the Ravens have a receiving corps that is in the top 10 of the league.

Boldin is a beast, and everyone here knows I love him, but he is not a top wideout.
Rice is hardly used by their offense, especially when Cam Cameron was still OC.

The defense has talent that otherwise they wouldn't be able to afford paying him ridiculous money. I wouldn't mind sinking such a significant portion of my cap into manning or brees, but flacco? Lets be serious. I agree rice was being underused but not anymore

Crazy to think a 4th and 29 and here they are. He threw up some nice bombs against Denver but come on, a little better D and we're not talking about this at all. The last play was a high school mistake.
