I read somewhere that the people you see in your dreams are all people you have seen before, even if you didn't notice them really. Don't know if it's true or not though

I do think about experiences I've had with people already, replay them. Or if I do think about something new, it's with someone I've already been with.
Someone has to have a real effect on me for me to fantasize about them. Is that normal?

I think they are more composites, but perhaps.
It takes a really wild imagination to come up with something never even glimpsed.
