this is not just a Shreveport phenomena

Perhaps it makes more sense that they have a seasoned cheese sauce that they heat up and add fresh browned ground beef

you are probably one of those that insist the majority of food at chain restaurants is precooked and just reheated.

One item doesn't constitute a majority and you still refuse to admit you had no idea what you were talking about and made shite up....

kill yourself NOW! this place is the best casual chain i've been to.. unlimited wine for the price of one glass...outstanding bread...solid yet not spectacular Italian food...Nothing about this place is terrible.

you know what I find amusing about this thread? there are undoubtedly dozens of users on this site whose diet consists of primarily fast food and chain restaurants, yet you don't see them chiming into this thread. for instance, every time I drive by an Applebee's (a place 99% of folks in this thread agree is awful) anywhere in the South it is packed. PACKED. the parking lot is always full. you can't sit here and tell me those same people don't post on TD.
I think you can safely say those people don't post on the FOOD board. Look, I hate people pretending to be pretentious as much as the next person. But come on.. this board has such a SMALL group of posters from the site. It is a board for people who have an interest in food. Is it really that out of the realm of possiblity that the posters on the food board don't eat Applebees?

One menu item doesn't constitute the majority of a menu genius. And yes I do know what I'm talking about . My wife has worked in casual dining for 15+ years..... Care to admit you actually have no clue what you were talking about?

there is a fight about chili's skillet queso going on right now. And the ingredients are still a mystery. We need an ex chili's line cook in here stat.

I'm unsure what y'all are bickering about, but if you're saying that you know what's in Chili's food items because your wife works in casual dining, that either has no correlation whatsoever.. OR your wife works at Chili's.
