Best: PF Changs worst: joe's crab sucks ass. For all the hate Red Lobster gets, the location not far from my house is surprisingly decent, same for the Olive Garden. Neither are "great". Also, i'd add Ruby Tuesday.

Yes. Poor quality food and generic atmosphere. J. Alexander's and Houston's are way better.

Elephant Bar is pretty good but most folks outside of the west don't really know of it.

Best: Outback Steakhouse (I actually have craving for their food from time to time) Worst: Ruby Tuesday (The one time I ate there, the hamburger was crap. WTF? I've had good hamburgers from bowling alley lunch counters. A hamburger is very hard to mess up.)

Stopped at a Crackerbarrel one time. Not my kind of place, but the group I was traveling with wanted to stop there. There was a no- shite 45 minute wait for a table, and more coming in behind us. It's not terrible food, but if I'm going to wait more than 15 minutes to be seated, it had better be a Galatoire's type experience.

Shake Shack though there's only 5 locations, still very good burgers, and only serve abita beer

J Alexander is pretty solid. Red Lobster has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

I've never been to one which is intentional. But i bet they have a bad arse dessert bar with soft serve. With gummy bears that you can put on your ice cream- as many as you want
