5 starts off slow but finishes almost as strong as Swords. It's number 2 or 3rd favorite for me.

I actually like the way Dany struggles in ADWD. It shows that being a great ruler is infinitely more difficult than being a great conqueror. I think she will really learn from her struggles in Dance With Dragons and become a much better Conqueror and ruler in upcoming books.

I would recommend keep reading, not only for all the reasons above, but also because once you finish ADWD (AND the Dunk and Egg tales, if haven't already) it will free you to explore places like Tower of the Hand, Westeros.org, and our own Crackpot Thread, especially, without worry of spoilers. Speaking for myself, (Hardcore Nerdom, so what?) the discussions and theories are almost as fun as reading the books themselves, sometimes more so. There are SOOOOOO many possibilities that others may have noticed that you didn't...it's amazing to see how often you can get your mind blown...and lots of laughable retardedness to sift through. But keep reading, finish, do some lurking. You won't be disappointed.

I will keep reading. Er listening to book on tape rather. It's just... I really enjoyed Robb Starks character but at least we have undeadcat and a lot of good other ones. It just seems the Starks can never get a break. I mean the ONE guy who didn't ask to be king just gets fricking owned. Messed up. I am way past book 3 and it still kills me that he's gone. I agree with you all for the most part though the end of book for was like AHHHHH SNAP! And the rhyming stuff... I assume your talking about some character named Reek... I don't remember if he was in the show.. I know he has something to do with Theon and messed up shiz with Roose Bolton.. but that's all I know.

Robb did a lot of fricking dumb things towards the end.

I'd be all for forming a Reek program for mass murderers, child rapists, and anyone responsible for school shootings. We should let that Aurora Colorado shooter be first up.

Keep reading buddy. There are so many things in Dance that make it worth it. I felt the same way after Feast, though after my third time through it, I find it on the same level as the rest. Storm is the most entertaining. Dance offers almost as many wow moments. Head on over to the Crackpot thread with any questions afterwards. As 19 said, discussing it can be just as much fun as reading it.
