I do. Despite having J.J. Abrams lead off the 3rd installment, this won't be good for the franchise. And here is why, there simply is no story after Episode VI. The franchise is based around the life of Anaken Skywalker. Anaken dies, end of story. No one cares what Luke and the others do because they aren't the story. Disney's greed has ruined something else that was fine just the way it was.

I approach it like LSU Basketball this season. I expect it to suck but hope that it doesn't. However, I do not allow myself to get too emotionally invested so when they lose, I'm not disappointed.

I am just baffled at what the story will be. I also read that many players in the original trilogy and Sam Jackson want to be involved. I really want to see how they write Sam Jackson into this. I feel a cheesy flashback coming on

Lucas sucked as a writer anyways.......look at the dialogue of 1-3 and 4-6......neither was top notch.......the only thing star wars excelled at was characters and changing the game of sci-fi.......as far as dialogue....it was terrible.

Really it can't get worse than the prequels. They may not be as good as the originals, but I doubt they'll blow chunks.

I know the story line is solid (my oldest brother read all of the expanded universe novels). However, so is the story line for the prequels (even if Episode I doesn't make a lot of sense). I just have a bad feeling about the story telling, cinematography, casting, acting, CGI usage, etc.

Of course it will suck.
Although I have no basis for saying this being that I've seen the first trilogy only partly and episode 1 remains the only movie I've ever walked out of.

I mean I agree totally, since they worse story teller of the 2000s is directing..........he knows little about creating science fiction, casting, acting, and especially cinematography.

I would have rather seen them do a movie/series of movies set around the time of Knights of the Old Republic, but I doubt many share that opinion.
