because people love kubrick.
And people love Nolan. I am a less than radical Nolanite. I see that he makes good films though I will never go so far as to say that he is a revolutionary film director because, at least at this point in his career, he is not.
i haven't seen enough of his movies to make an accurate assessment of him, but what I've seen I have enjoyed
I have seen Paths of War, Spartacus, Dr. Strangelove, 2001, A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket, and Eyes Wide Shut. I would say that only two of those have any replay value for me. He made good films but they aren't the masterpieces that everyone says they are.
