I've had some unpleasant experiences with 'alphabet soup'. I wouldn't call them bad trips, but they've kicked my arse like no mushrooms or acid have done. The only genuinely great one I have tried, I believe, is 2-c-t2, but I could be wrong - I think my buddy said it was essentially synthetic mescaline.

I've been a big electronic fan since 2009 and have only drank at concerts.
I know plenty of people who won't dare go to something like that without pills or weed

they are all variations of synthetic mescaline. Check out the movie dirty pictures for detail on their creation.
2cb is VERY different than the others. It has no mind frick, and was sold as "legal mdma" for years and is still marketed that way in some places. While it causes gastrointestinal distress, it keeps your headspace pretty clear. Visuals are cartoonish, and its easy on the body. 5 hrs to sobriety, and no hangover. 2ct7 is much much much different.

I did 2CI (I think thats what it was) over 5 years ago and wasn't really a fan. I enjoyed the trip, but would MUCH rather LSD or shrooms.

I just do it for a mood booster. It works pretty well. Only noticeable visual differences are increased acuity and color contrast.

yeah, the thing is LSD is a time committment. You need 14 hrs plus a full day of recovery, so 2 days. I just don't have time in my life to do anywhere but vacation. Even then I hate dedicating 2 days for it, although I always have a good time.

ok, we get really great weed too and now its legal.
Also, 2cb is great b.c I can take it, and the next day be fine. Last weekend we did it at a cabin in the mountains. Dropped it at 6, and was in bed asleep by 1am. Next day, woke up at 10 am and went snowshoeing and to the hot springs. No hangover at all.

I've taken X at many different types of shows (honestly, I could enjoy Phish on X probably)... been years though... used to love to at Jazz fest and chill...
obviously smoked weed... meh...
Hate any kind of psychadelic..
Usually, its just beer...

I used to go to state palace in the late 90s. There was so much x. I still have a soft spot (or maybe a hole) in my heart for techno because of it.
