Things like abortion won't change, it was decided by the supreme court 40 years ago.
I really don't care whether it changes or not. But I'm not interested in a politician making that issue a focal point of his campaign.
Gay marriage is a states issue.
I agree with that, but I also agree with the idea that gays are inherently entitled to the same rights as straights as far as marriage is concerned (outside of the church's wishes .. which obviously should not be infringed upon).

Well I don't vote to begin with, especially in national elections. I refuse to take part in a two party system where I'm "obligated by civic duty" to vote for the lesser of two evils.
