Altho he could of omitted "it will drive you to insanity". A bit extreme but that's who tm7 is

Why people are mad at the guy is beyond me. The guy did more in his two years playing than 95% of guys do in their career. He left it all out on the field every single game and was by all indications a great leader on the practice field. He had an attitude that the rest of the team fed off of and it made the team better.
Should he have given weed up-yes. He had too much to lose than there was to gain. However weed has gotten a bad rap because of the illegality. It is the same if not better than alchohol. This is coming from a guy who has not and will never touch the marijuana. However there are multiple pharmuceticals being developed off of its properties and it is now legal in multiple states. I believe that the NCAA has no formal policy on marijuana and certainly not synthetic. Marijuana is everywhere and the only reason more guys nationally arent suspendend is their teams arent testing them.

Redfield, i am lurker for sure but felt compelled to respond. I always enjoy the recruiting board and your contributions. I avoid the rant for most part but unfortunately came here after a few beers. Ive always felt you to be a solid contributor and respected your opinions but you're wrong here.
Just because you overcame your demons quicker doesnt mean TM7 can or will. I was in the same boat and had a lot of people stand by me past 21 yrs old. Tough love, sure, he's kicked off the team, watches them lose to Bama, sees a bunch of aholes here bash him, his team, and his coach. Nothing tough about that right? How dare he defend them or recommend other young men to avoid the hateful bastards here.
Everyone has different paths and i hope his leads him to all the success in the world. I loved watching him play as a tiger and understand some of the troubles he encountered as a man. I am just glad i didnt have to live mine under the microscope of all these dbags.

Unfortunately, that small percentage is very vocal here, and a lot of the media come here and even reference it in articles, etc. Perception is reality in the internet world.

TM7 is 100% correct.
I was once on the "inside". I know what I'm talking about. Hell, I've been guilty of it too, until I realized what it does. Since then, I've tried to be a "sunshine pumper".
This site, especially after 1/9/12, has really become a cancer for the LSU program. I know, "you're a pussy", blah blah. It's the damn truth.
TD.com is purposely blocked on many areas of the campus, including the football office. There is a reason for this.
But you fricktards keep bashing the coach, program, and players all day while thinking it doesn't harm the program.
You are literally cutting off your nose to spite your faces.
