| Best all inclusive resort in Cancun area? (Posted on 1/24/13 at 5:49 pm)
What's the best all inclusive resort in the Cancun area for those who have been? Planning a trip for this summer and trying to pick out of the million has been rough...Preferably adult only type place.

I've been to Azul Beach resort, for a true all adult, there's Desire about 200 yards south (clothing optional there)

For our senior trip, we went to Riu Playacar - all inclusive in playa del carmen. Looking at it right now, the rates are only $110 for the cheapest rooms... a mutha frickin steal

Don't stay in Cancun... Go to Playa del Carmen, etc. It's been since 07, but the Royal was nice. These days I mostly stay in Cozumel and haven't been to the mainland since then.

The Dreams Cancun is excellent (previously the Camino Real Cancun) - I would recommend it as an all-inclusive as the food was great, you have salt water and fresh water pools, as well as beach, and because of it's location, you pretty much just see your hotel and the water.

I've never been, but my parents have. They enjoyed it. However, I don't know if there is as much to do there as in PdC.

I looked at the the Royal in Playa is near downtown at one point but didn't go. My buddy said it was very nice and easy to walk off the property into town. Cancun is like being in the states...

Avoid anything that says local alcohol. Book one that includes premium drinks.
