I was just at Torrey Pines less than a month ago. Stopped by to play a round while in SD for the Holiday Bowl. Such a fun course to play.

Fowler just 3 putted from 20 feet. He had a poor first putt, walked up and quickly putted again from 2 feet, missed it. I'm actually surprised the pros don't do this more often. For as much money that can be made or lost with a single stroke, those guys aren't afraid to just slap at a 2 foot putt.
