frick no. he hits like a truck he played against some top SEC talent and did just fine. the biggest issue is his coverage skills. i think he will be a solid nickel back and great ST player. worst case scenario:

I am not sure some people watched him play at LSU! TM7 was the biggest playmaker I have ever seen playing for them and it happened week after week. He took over in most big games and you can actually say without him LSU loses 3-4 more games in those 2 years. He will make in the pros IF he can stay clean and that is a bigger IF than his talent for sure...

As long as they don't have him matching 1-on-1 with the Tony Gonzales and Julio Jones' of the world, he will be just fine.

Tyran can play at the next level if he can stay out of trouble. There have been 5'8" to 5'9" cornerbacks in the NFL. Tyran would be a good nickel back and special teams player. I believe Tyran will get in trouble again. I don't think he can help himself.

I mean Trindon holliday is like maybe 5'5" and look how good he is in the return game. Granted TM7 doesn't have quite the same speed as Trindon

I'd bet PP21 is in the Cardinals' GM's ear about TM7. At a certain point in the draft, a team will take BPA and they'll take a shot on him with a late round pick.

Tm7 will be a playmaker in the nfl, the same as he was in college. The guy has instincts and talent far above his stature. He is a football player first and foremost and he will be around the ball making shite happen like always. I dont care if he is 5'2", i have never seem one guy change so many games, time after time be in the right spot, and have the swag required to pull it off. I beleive he was the missing piece this season for the alabama game, florida, and the bowl game which we wouldnt have played in if he were there . Im really pulling for the guy, i personally think he was the best overall player in 25 years at lsu. Most will think im crazy, but tm7 could play ball

dude is a playmaker. and as for character issues.. i'm sure there are a lot of people in the nfl that have questionable character issues.. i think the lennay publicity stunt is worse than weed problem.. not to mention ray lewis. i'm done.

I'd pay him a million dollars just for his ability to down punts at the 2 if I was a GM, and he has more skills than that

I have my doubts about Tyrann staying out of trouble, but if he does, there ain't no nickel back shite about it. He'll start at corner for almost any team in the league! This myth about Tyrann not being able to cover cracks me up. BTW, the same buffoons saying he can't cover are saying he's a nickel back. So nickel backs don't have to cover? I got news for those chumps, nickel backs are usually covering slot receivers with no sideline to help and with a shorter reaction time due to the shorter throw. It's brutally difficult to do that.

Chavis said multiple times that he is the greatest player he ever coached. Sounds to me like he might have a shot at the NFL. How does an undersized guy become easily the greatest fumble forcer in the history of the college game? I dunno, ask Ty. How does an undersized guy become the first Heisman finalist as a defensive playa from the SEC in over two decades? I dunno, but I think Chavis is on to something... Overrated?

It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see him run the fastest 10 yard split in the combine.

Undersized and NFL players are too experienced to let someone just strip the ball out of their hands, quarterbacks are on another level and know how to throw on a 5'8 guy. Special teams is a different story.

Adrian Peterson is the best football player alive right now and even he used to be a fumble machine. I don't buy this.

Will stay in the NFL as a special teams guy until he gets popped for another weed charge. His best hope is to get drafted by Denver or Seattle.

Also, it should be noted that even though he was the smallest player on the team and he yet was the most physical in the most physical conference, he never sustained an injury in 2 yrs, never even nicked to my knowledge. ...Durable as a mutha. I predict an 8-10 yr career starting on defense somewhere + special teams duties. All this BS for him was like a nasty blessing in disguise. Now he will truly be angry with something to prove once again. Sure wish da Saints could make this happen, but we all know why that can't be.
