Caps, Rangers, Kings, Canes, and Flyers are all winless after at least 2 games. The way I figure it, since 10 games is about 1/8 of a season in a full schedule, 6 games is exactly 1/8 in the 48 game schedule. Every three games in the current schedule is like 5 in a normal year. This is like a 5 game losing streak for the Flyers, and the rest are on the precipice. All have to win or at least get a point in their next game. You can't dig a hole too fast to recover.

Kings had a shitty 1st half of the season before turning it on and earning a playoff spot. They kept that momentum in the playoffs and were the dominant team. Gonna have to wake up a little sooner this year as the season is so much shorter...
