Again, the point is that nobody uses it. It's meant to simplify things, but it has proven to complicate things. All who "oppose" have not provided a valid reason to keep it, but they have given ways to get around it. Why should we have to get around something that is meant to be liked by us?

But why should we even have to delete it? It wasn't put there to make an extra step for us, but that's what it inadvertently does! Why can't people see this?

Like I said, since it is already highlighted, you can just ignore it and just long-press and paste right on top of it as if it were just an empty blank. No extra steps necessary, and maybe it serves as a reminder to some people that whatever you paste there has to start with http://

It's not already highlighted on the iPhone. This is what pops up automatically with no button-pressing from me. In fact, just to paste this I had to backspace a bunch and it annoyed me once again.

You could type [ I m g ] then paste the URL address and then type [ / I m g ] afterwards if that helps.

Oh, it is highlighted on Android on both Chrome and the stock browser, and it is already highlighted on both Chrome and Firefox on my desktop. It just seems like the smart thing for the browser to do, so I assumed Apple would have done it right.

I agree. Nobody is going to copy a whole image link and leave out http://
The only reason I can see as to why they won't get rid of that is for the tards that have no idea how to post images so they left that for example to help.

WIR, I started a thread just like this within weeks of the TDMobile launch. That should tell you everything you need to know.
ETA, I just hold down backspace immediately after pressing the img button. But I while heartedly agree, an empty field would be much better.
