Yea the timing of this was pretty good because I have been having the itch to play it lately.
I am building Stout Island. Just finished my lighthouse.

I could get on the server. Already started a base. I 'm going to add a lot of interesting things to it before it goes to creative mode.
Like another poster said. It's the best time to mess with lava in the base.

I have a desire to join, but most of the TD Minecraft servers seem to share the same inevitable fate.
They all appear to be active for the first week or two, and then die out over the next few months before the server is eventually shut down, leaving those still interested with no way of downloading the map.

Buzz kill.
I learned that servers are not in my control so I just do what's fun to me and figure out how to get as many involved as I can. I learned to do the activities I really cherish on my own SPS game.

My TD.com server was up for a long time and I even gave everyone the option to chip in and keep it going before I shut it down. No one wanted to and you are correct that no one played it consistently anymore.

I have the server and got it so my brother in law could play on line, so feel free to stay as long as you want. I like the posters on TD so thought I would invite, so as other games come out and current players fade, I will still have the server up. Feel free to stick around as long as you want, the more the better. If it helps any I use to be a Xbox 360 junkie till my daughter was born 5 years ago, so this is the only game I play now, and that is after everyone is asleep. In short Im not going anywhere soon.

Hey Greece, Stout was saying you are pretty knowledgable on the server set up. I am new to setting up a server, Stout has been a big help, so any input you want to add would be appreciated. Server is for anyone, mainly TD members to play. Im good with any plugins you or Stout want to add
