Clearly you are missing the point. Because what he is saying is that there are a tons of know it all a-holes on here and he is glad he didnt read it then. I'm glad too and wish many of the current players don't read the shite posted on here.

Unfortunately I feel there is a young immature large group who try to out do each other with the most outrageous negative posts. They remind me of 3 year olds who crave attention by screaming and crying.
Of course it's embarrassing because this board is an LSU fan board and represents our fan base.

You are correct in saying that Chad did not read this as a player. Those who did not get this point did not read his statement accurately. However, you are wrong that just because Chad didn't read the rant that other players don't. We don't know what the rest of the team does with regards to this site.
What we do know is that for players who do read this site, there is the potential to affect their performance. This is what Chad is saying. And again, just because that potential exists doesn't mean that every player who reads this gets down, but we do know that this is a possibility. Trying to argue against that is lacking in all logic. At the same time, all the bitching done on this site really serves no positive purpose. If we could do away with something that has no positive value and might have a negative impact, most in society would consider that a good thing.

He is spot on. Part of what these players do is for the fans. If you do not believe this you never played a level of sports that involved public opinion. He is classy and this site should stay classy as well. We are all Tigers.
