WOW I was emotional for the Super Bowl win, but I dont think there ever has been a loss I cried for. I know during the games what is most likely going to be the outcome in regards to turnovers and converting in the red zone and on third down. When the Saints lose its heartbreaking, but not a shock.

Their offense let them down in the second half. If Ryan hits a wide open Harry Douglas in stride, it may have been Atlanta's day.
Here's a great line on that play from the NY Times:
Ryan, scrambling, finds Harry Douglas behind his man on the right side. But as the pass hangs in the air, Douglas trips over Manti Te’o’s girlfriend and falls as he makes the catch. He does this right in front of the 49ers coaches, who scream that the ball hit the turf.
