goodman didn't visit, Willis is still scheduled to visit, and i know Les and Frank have an in home with Willis tonight.

Jesus the fricking retards come out of the woodwork when it gets closer and closer to signing day..
Willis has already visited...Goodman didn't visit, and looks like he will not
I think the distance is going to be to much to overcome with Willis unfortunately..
We are still in it for Bower..He would be a very nice surprise..
I think if we get Eddie Jackson (as planned) to visit next weekend, we can lock him up....I've been told that the coaches have him rated as the 2nd best CB in the country behind Tra White....

I thought Willis had all but said he is not coming. I also thought he and Goodman were a combo. My error.
Either way, I can only assume that Willis is a long shot. RN is not really even considering us anymore it would appear.

Based on my limited knowledge, I would assume Top 10 when all faxes are in.

hes listed as an athlete but will likely play safety...4* kid out of florida, very good player. cant provide a link right now but will when i get to a computer

This is a great class even if we don't get anyone else. It looks like we have more 4-star players than anyone else and we have addressed all our needs. I'd still like to pick up at least one safety and P. Willis would do nicely.

I have not seen anything that reflects negative for lsu regarding Willis that is solid. Distance could be a factor somewhat, but I think we are very much at the top with ucla right there as well. Go out on a limb and say we get Willis and Bower.

So, in essence, the answer to the original question is that we are done. We are not the favorite for any remaining recruit.

Did you mean CB? Supposedly, this kid runs a 4.38 forty time, so he would possibly be a good candidate for CB.

Look the writing was on the wall with the Kevin Spears offer and acceptance. I am not saying Kevin Spears will not be a good player! Hopefully he will turn out to be a great player, but when you have just a few spots left in your class that you were saving for the big time players left that are uncommitted and you start handing out offers to unrated players, you need to read between the lines - they are not coming! People can justify all day long about the Spears offer and he just started playing football 2 years ago etc.... but if they really thought they had a shot at RN, PW & TG they would not accept any other offers. They would give a grey shirt and tell them that they will take the grey shirt off if they have room.
Whether anyone likes it or not the Kevin Spears offer and acceptance said it all. Again I hope Spears turns out to be a great player for the Tigers but his offer states that the coaches feel the other big targets on the board they are pushing for the possibilities of signing them are becoming remote at this point.
We have a great class, it would be nice to get a big surprise to put the icing on the cake, but at this point it looks like we just should be happy with who we have.
