Come on OG he needs a recipe and wants to know how much seasoning to put in with 2 lbs of meat. Help a brother out! He's got guys giving him hamburger recipes that call for pineapples and boudin.

re: Best burger recipes
OG we are in agreement here.

I like hamburger with a little fat to give the burger more flavor so not too lean for me

Salt pepper hot griddle cook medium well get a bun and what you like on it.

Never used truffle oil on my burgers. We just shave a little truffle on top and let it go at that.

Have you tried the Umami Burger?

Actually the best burger in my opinion is beef, preferably fresh ground from a roast with sea salt and frsh cracked black pepper. That's it! You don't want to cover up the flavor of good meat.
Grill or cook on a griddle or cast iron pan enough to get a good crust on the outside.

I'm in the less is more camp. Tony's or S&P. Grab a handful of beef, shake some Tony's & fold that handful over (thus, the middle is seasoned). Shape into patties and season top and bottom. Den you cook dat.

i also subscribe to the fold method... i flatten it out a little bit in a pan or on a sheet, season and fold as much as i can..

My dad used to get ground filet mignon and mix it in with good ground beef (filet would not stay together well by itself). That shite was delicious.

I've gotten really good feedback on a burger I've done that I season with a little worscheshire sauce and my own chili powder recipe. They are quite good.
