Both sides are reporting that Brad Lawing is showing interest and that it is "close" to being done.

Doesn't UF run a 3-4 defense? Don't y'all still have Bryant Young on staff coaching your DL? Is he moving on, or "being" moved on, or switching to another position (he's only got 3 yrs coaching experience beyond GA, but it's all been as DL coach)?
Kind of odd to have two position coaches coaching 3 DL players per game...

Yes it is true...Brad Lawing does not get along with Lorenzo Ward so he is moving to Florida.
Clowney will now fail...haha

Apparently Lawing drunk dialed Carlos Dunlap before he went on his recruiting trip to UF and called him a bitch.

UF runs a base 4-3 with Multiple concepts. We run a ton of Nickel as well. Champ like to have a DT coach and a DE coach. Lawing is the new DE coach. He does it this way because he personally works with the Safeties.

After 17 seasons with the Carolina program, this just seems fishy, like he's jumping ship. It's not like he's getting a promotion. Maybe he thinks Spurrier is leaving soon, and took whatever offer was given to him, while the getting was good, instead of waiting to be fired by whatever coach replaces Spur.

Rumor is that we let him walk, didn't even try to match the offer.
It's not that spurrier's leaving anytime soon, Lawing had "personal reasons" to leave
