He dove for the ball and got hit in the face by a Georgia guy's knee. His nose was pouring blood and they had to carry him off...so broken nose + concussion probably.

I just happened to find the game on cable here. He dove for a ball and looked like he hit his nose on a guys knee. Blood was pouring out. He couldn't get up and walk off the cournt. His knees were shakey. 3 LSU players picked him up, 2 on arms and 1 on the legs, and he was carried off. Blood was wiped up off the floor twice. He could have a broken nose with a lot of swelling. Probably can't breath out of it. Concussion is possible.

The only mention of it in the papers is that he needed stitches and stayed behind in Athens. I have no idea why every arena doesn't have a wheel-able stretcher ready for times like those.

Thanks for the update. I believe all arenas have an ambulance on site for NCAA games. So there should have been a stretcher available. Perhaps they chose not to use it, so that they could observe his neurological state. Not uncommon with concussions. If there had been a neck or back injury then a stretcher would likely have been used.

From a tweet I saw yesterday it made it seem like LSU would be down to 8 players for the game versus aTm.
The injury looked bad. Coach was proud how the players helped carry Corban off the court, but in the end, it didn't look good for his immediate return.

We have 2 backup forwards and 1 backup guard so we better not get into any foul trouble Wednesday.
