*Disclaimer, i used to be a huge Wiz fan. But there comes a point where you realized he made the same exact song about 6 times and now just does it over and over again. And i wonder how much money he would take to not talk about weed for one fricking song.

I'll be honest, I started listening to him last year or the year before. So when you hear I'm gonna ride, work hard, rooftops, etc. all at the same time... You're gonna think highly of the cat.
I hear radio shite an it makes me not want to listen to the artist. And it usually makes me take a while to hear the good shite bc of that.
Kid cudi for example. I LOVE kudi but never listened to him until a few years ago all bc of "day n night"... I happene to catch solo dolo on pandora and started digging into his lineup

Wiz just may have a quick expiration date for you if you keep up with his music. To me "Its Nothin" "Work Hard", "Black and Yellow", "Ony Level" are the exact same song.
And I like Kid Cudi, he just gets a little too out there for my liking sometimes.
I loved Man on the Moon I & II but WZRD was pretty damn bad or atleast i didnt like it at all
Hopefully his next project is more like the former than the latter

When cudi announced that he was going to stop smoking weed if figured he would be done. Not saying a musician HAS to smoke but when you change your life that much, it will affect the music. And yeah, he got pretty deep/depressed on a lot of his stuff but heh as a good flow and some charisma to him.

Kid Cudi is fantastic. I'm also a fan of Mac Miller, although I'm probably going to get a lot of flack for that. Khalifa is ok, it's just that all he raps about is smoking weed.

I just hate how Mac hasn't had anything come out since last march. He made a jazz album, but no rap.
