| Issue with Sandy Hook (Posted on 1/19/13 at 11:48 pm)
I am not the tin foil hat wearing type, but someone sends me the video link, I'm sure it has been discussed on here several times. I have watched it several times, and have searched the internet to find some of the unanswered questions. Does anyone think we are hearing the whole story? What I have noticed is that most of the unanswered questions are due to poor media coverage during the day of and days after getting the facts wrong. What do you think?

The main argument I've heard is that they have a video of the authorities getting the "long fire arm" from the trunk of the shooters car after he did all his shooting and was dead, yet the coroner said on TV that all of the victims had been shot with the long firearm. The problem with this is the gunman never went outside after he shot those kids. Bizarre? Maybe there is something to this so OBOMBUS could outlaw certain guns, who knows?

I just think the media has gotten lazy, with their ideology being the ruling party...They just aren't used to having to come up with their own facts, as they usually just get their talking points. When something uncontrolled goes down, their reporting suffers, and their coverage just sucks. No doubt they sucked it up, here!

I also have questions about the Lanza kid did not drive his mothers BMW to the school, but drove a car that was registered to someone that use to live in the area, but now lives in Florida. Also question the footage of police chasing someone from the school into the woods and arresting him. I did find where this guy was a parent of a student and when he heard the gunfire took off running. This I find hard to believe, being a father of a 5 year old daughter, if I were to hear shooting inside, I would be trying to get to her as fast as I could, not running away. The other question I have is where are the 600 students? They showed 1 picture of a teacher leading about 15 kids Out in a line with their hands on the shoulders of the kids in front of them. The problem with this is that this picture was from 2 years previously during a practice drill tweeted out by the principal. I also have an issue with all of the donation websites that were set up days after. Again if it were my daughter, donations would be the last thing on my mind, or meeting the president or sitting in a gun control event.

You nailed it, Camden. Modern journalism is an attempt to spin scoop into political narrative, as they are so wont to do. So, a school shooting goes down, and their immediate prejudice clouds true fact-finding purpose. Their intent is to be hyperbolic, political and to allow "corrections" to come later. Ahhh, the good ole days of Bush, when reporters used to hammer the administration with hard questions, no matter how bizarre.

Its funny that the one event with the least hard evidence against the official story is the one that has been introducing the most new people to the realm of questioning.

Maybe it's just me but Nick and Laura Phelps, that Newtown couple, sure do look a lot like Richard Sexton and Jennifer Greenberg, the actress. But they don't live close by. I wonder if they are related.

Do what? I was merely making an observation and wondering if they were somehow related.

The modern newsman has a dilemma: need to beat others to the release of information as quickly as possible on a limited production budget. And they are lazy and sloppy. I've worked in media / entertainment for 13 years and being a conservative is about as acceptable as cross dressing. They all think alike and don't think it's possible to have another viewpoint which is why they shove it down your throats. I'm so disillusioned by the whole right vs left thing and think its time that a new channel started up where you just have ridiculously hot women read factual news stories over and over and over again. Like read the front page and first section of each main category of yahoo or something.

Funny because all this time I thought cross dressing was pretty acceptable in that crowd.

No I mean in the office Imagine being in like a logistics meeting "Hey did you hear bob spends his weekends as Roberta and wears a dress" "Who cares?" "Can you believe that Stan thinks our taxes are too high, believes in the second amendment, and thinks government spending is outta control?" "frick Stan dude, don't invite him to happy hour it might make Roberta uncomfortable"

You haven't searched very hard. There are sites out there that have shown how stupid that video is and have answered pretty much every insane question. There was a long thread on the O-T and one or two here the the political board where the horse shite was ripped apart. You are going to believe what you want though, so have fun with it.

If your issue with Sandy Hook isn't that some jackass killed 20 kids and 6 adults, then I don't know what to tell you. The above is actually key to understanding why all the conspiracy theories are worthless. As best as I can tell there are two main types of theories, there were more people involved and the government did it (you can combine the two if you like). the first is silly because what reason does anyone have to cover up multiple gunmen, it doesn't change anyone. The second, if you believe the US government would purposely and deliberately kill 20 kids, well then have fun living in you paranoid world. Yes certainly the US government has shown indifference to the killing of children and civilians in wars, but indifference is different than deliberate killing by the government. I don't know how many people would have to be involved in such a conspiracy, but it would have to be at least 10. For something as awful as this, someone would talk. Life isn't the movies, you don't have these secret cabals of people working together who never talk and clean up all loose ends perfectly. Many of the people who believe in conspiracies also believe the federal government is incompetent. SO which is, are they incompetent or are they perfect planners of elaborate conspiracies?
