Have you played Rift? I liked it when it first released but found it to be really boring at end game. I heard the new expansion is really good and improves the replayability.

It's ok, might as well give it a try, since you can play for free to level 20.
Star Trek Online has really upped it's game, with more content on the way. Completely free to play, too. F2P has been very good to STO.
Same is true of Lord of the Rings Online, and to a lesser extent, Everquest 2. All F2P.
And if you've never tried Star Wars, The Old Republic, now's your chance. That game just went F2P as well.
I'd really recommend STO, LOTRO, and SWTOR out of those. STO is more about space combat, with limited ground combat missions. SWTOR is just the reverse. LOTRO is for scratching your fantasy itch, should you have one.

I actually like AION. Ill be going back to it when I get on land. GW2 just doesnt progess enough for me. and WoW well, its WoW.
Its definitely a beautiful game if you like the visual aspect of gaming. F2P also, so worth a hard look IMO

Tera online was pretty fun and goes FTP this week.
I've thought about giving Eve a try. That game has been going for a good long time.

Is SWGEmu playable on servers yet or is it still a test server only game? I want to go back to it but don't want to invest time until my character can be viable.

No idea. I only posted it as a joke.
I would like to see it happen, but between rebirth, SWGEmu, and SWGanh all having worked on this for a few years and made little to no progress, I am doubtful it will ever really be completed.

If you wait, they are re-releasing XIV as a completely different game. 
It's not a whole lot like WoW or GW2, but the people that like it, really really love it, and it makes for a much more enjoyable experience BECAUSE it gets away from the typical so well.

Eve is really intense from what I've heard. Lot's of options and details to manage. I've heard it is actually like having a second life. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Eve is tough to get into. Takes up LOTS of time, and for beginners there's not much reward. But once you work your way up I heard it's incredibly fun.

I'm on Mount T server on Tera. I forgot how fun that game is.
WoW is still strong. I've been logging in a little to catch up with some old friends. I can't say that the panda area excites me much. It's ok I guess. I'll probably pop in and out there for mostly social reasons.
