Clinton knows the deal and is pragmatic. Hopefully the Dems don't listen to him so that some of these a-holes can get voted out of office.

While I loathe Clinton's character, he's as savvy a politician as there is. Hell, he single-handedly rescued Obama's second-term presidential bid with his convention speech.

Whether you agree with his politics or not, it's hard to argue that Bill Clinton isn't a wise man or a very capable leader.

He's speaking from experience. He realizes three weeks ago the GOP opposition was demoralized and Obama is now firing up the GOP base in ways that the GOP leadership could not have even imagined.

Nah. Hurricane Sandy, Gov Christie kissing Obama's ass, Romney being a multi-millionaire mormon, and Paul Ryan's hard stance on abortion is what rescued Obama.

To be fair, though, headlines and soundbites control perception and opinion these days. If Hurricane Sandy hadn't happened, had Romney been more relatable to the average voter, had Ryan not been so against abortion, then would the logistics have worked out for Obama? Maybe, but who knows. It's both a macro and micro game.
