if chip has a really bad first year which is possible considering the drastic schematic change and the toughness of their division, say he wins only 5-6 games do you think he decides that the nfl isn't for him like spurrier the offensive genius of the 90's and decides to come back to college to take over a job like a texas or usc which have a really good chance of opening up after next year.

He'll come back and coach for OU, LSU, or Texas.

Hopefully he returns whenever the year is Richt decides to retire so that UGA can get a real coach and not someone who chokes in big games.

doubt the lsu job will open up. i thinks its a foregone conclusion that texas and usc will be open next year

I can actually see this happening. Kiffin and Brown will be forced out before Kelly is done with the NFL and Les Miles is in no danger of getting fired. Richt probably bought himself a few more years and I can see him hanging around until 2015 or 2016. The timeline matches up pretty well for the Georgia job to open up right around the time Kelly gets fired from the Eagles.

I think that the timeline could be 2015 and who knows maybe ole Les will have decided himself to sail out into the setting sun and maybe Chipper will wind up at LSU.

He will stay at least two or three years before he calls it quits. After that he will return to the college opening of his choice.

les would be crazy to leave in 2015 after the sick class of 2014 that will be on campus. i say les leave around 2017. he will have won another natty before then and ride into the sunset.
