Played 2k12 and liked it, what's the consensus on 2k13? Thinking about picking it up

Pretty good, they overhauled the my player mode.

Yea my player is better than its ever been, and you can play with you player you make online in 3v3 street ball, so its perty legit. Playing online isn't near as bad either, it doesn't freeze up all the time, that was 2k12s worst problem, too glitchy. This year is a much more polished version. Since football is about to be over and basketball will start heating up this us the time to get it.

I usually get all the sports games anyways I was just making sure it wasn't a down year like MLB 2k12. I had to sell it and get the Show instead. Thanks

Oh my god, you were still buying the MLB 2k series? Last one I played was 2k11 and it was a carbon copy of 2k10, it sucks being a baseball fan and having a 360

I try to follow baseball man but after June I stop watching and pick it back up around September. It would be easier if the closest fricking baseball city wasn't fricking ATL

I have an Xbox 360 and I keep a PS2 around just for college baseball 06 and 07, when it is baseball season
Dont really care much for Pro baseball, I wish they would make a new college baseball though.

I just started the free month trial for Gamefly and this was the first game I rented. I don't want to send it back. I have only played a regular game once (and it was bad ass). I've been playing the my player mode and LOVE it.
Definitely worth buying.

The way I see it, I buy at least three sports games a year (totaling roughly $180)
I play them for a year, then move on to the next year's version. One year with gamefly is roughly $192 (money I would have spent anyway). I'm not getting to keep the games, but I rarely play them past a year before getting the newer versions. With gamefly, I'm getting the games I would normally play, plus a plethora of other games to choose from.
I think it's a good idea, if you're an avid gamer.
ETA: I'm probably gonna get in on the playoff games this weekend. Do we have a thread for that?

It's pretty badass. Ive had every 2k basketball since the first one on Dreamcast. Its really the best so far and thats saying a lot because theyve all been good each year.

EA stopped making March Madness a few years ago (to my dismay). I don't know of any other college hoops games out there.
