Ole Miss has a good vibe about it right now. They looked real good in their bowl game and people are excited around there. LSU right now appears to down, not really true in my mind, but there is alot of negativity in the fan base and the media for some reason has tried to broadcast that.

Actually, it does remind be of that ridiculous year when AU was going nuts. I'm not saying Ole Miss is cheating but it is a ridiculous year for them. Incredible recruiting no doubt.

Is the class really that good? Seems top heavy. RN would not be going there if it wasn't for his brother so put an asterisk next to his name. I don't know what's going on with Treadwell. Midwest guys say he's for sale and he has no grades. I would find it strange if any SEC team signed the #1 WR in the country from Chicago.
Let's see how they finish out. There is a lot of buzz around the program due to the turnaround but I think you see that at most programs when a coach has his first full recruiting year. They all sell the "you're my guy" line and kids these days love stuff like that.

The Klan members who marched on the Ole Miss campus were from Alabama. Ole Miss is a Public University, you cannot stop them from coming onto campus.
Do you honestly think Ole Miss sponsored a Klan rally on campus? In 2009? Really? You can't be that obtuse.

No one should be shocked that Freeze can recruit. He learned from Ed Orgeron, who can't coach a lick, but recruits with the best of them.
You Ole Miss fans need to give credit where credit is due though. If y'all get Robert Nkemdiche, which I think is all but assured, you can thank Houston Nutt, not Hugh Freeze, for that. Nutt signed Denzel Nkemdiche.

There is something too often we seem to forget about recruiting. Its called ACADEMICS.
Despite whether or not a player can get their way through a clearing house, they still need to make grades to be able to play. Les Miles has players every year that are "clearing house good", but not "LSU Academics good" [at least enough to be able to play consistently].
Both of the Mississippi SEC Schools are of the worst academic Division One Schools in the entire nation. They are easily the worst in the SEC.
Now that Boise State [another terrible academic school with a football pulse] is up against the ropes for NCAA violations, players that barely can get through the easiest of four-year Ddivision One schools need a place to be able to play and be seen. 'Ol Piss has become the School Du Jour for the moment.
If a player can't be developed into an NFL player who attends [note I didn't say graduates] Ol Miss, what does he have to show for it after his time at Ol Miss is over. Not a hell of a lot.
Those players who's parents really want to have their child get a quality education that is meaningful after they hang up their cleats, because a football career isn't hugely lucrative for the vast majority who pursue it, would steer them away from an Ol Miss "education" if they knew enough about those things. Notice you don't see the Ol Miss recruits decide to play for the Rebs over Vanderbilt, Duke, Stanford, Northwestern, Notre Dame, CAL, USC, UCLA and other top 25 Division One academic institutions.
