I believe that to be true. My mom is a nurse, she is the only person I know who sleeps less than me. She hasn't been on shift in 30yrs but still can pull a few nights at the nursing home at the drop of a hat and not skip a beat.

My wife must be way more understanding than others. My shift work never caused any problems between us. When I'm working nights she let's me sleep without disturbing me.

All the women in this area are use to shift workers and offshore hands. Most jobs here are gas plants, carbon black pants, power plant, casino, boat captains, and offshore. Shift is kind of expected around here.

My SO dad was a boat captain, sometimes I'm home to much for her. It's great though, she was never scared to stay home alone or just her and the kids.

Mine too! When I built my house, Our bedroom is on one side were the other three are on the other side of the house. That and I had the walls sound proofed.

When I met my SO, her dad was working 30/15 and always worked over. I drove airboats for the first year we were married, (gone most of the time) when I got this job and was home every day, she was the one that had to get use to it.

We may have married the same woman. She will handle business while I'm sleeping and fill me in like shift change when I wake up.
