There's just something about this particular gas station's coffee. It may well be the sense of achievement I get, knowing I survived a 2:00am Shell run in Orange Mound. Maybe this makes the coffee seem stronger.

I drink a pot a night. Community Dark Roast. Little cream a splash of sugar. Been drinking it this way since about 5 yrs old.

When I was working at Union Carbide/Dow Chemical before I retired I would drink about 20 cups of Coffee during the day either at home or at work. We had the big Community Coffee Maker with the 3 pots and someone was always making Coffee and when I smelled it Dripping I had to have a cup. If I was off I would make a 10 Cup Pot in morning and 10 Cup Pot in the afternoon for me. I always used Coffee and Chicory. I remember when I was a kid my Mom would Drip the Coffee on top the stove and I still remember the smell of the Coffee Dripping.

Community dark roast. I have a small white porcelan drip pot and I just make a filter out of a paper towel. Little bit of creamer and that shite will send you to the moon. Super strong, super good stuff.

Few things better than camp coffee in one of the old metal pots, brewed over a fire with that oh so slow drip through tiny holes, piping hot after a long cold night.

Sounds like you developed a tolerance. Coffee stops working for me if I drink it every day.
