The hypocrisy of the Right never ceases to amaze me. They tell all these minorities to stop being a drain on society, work to better yourself, and try to do something productive for a change. So a black man gets an education and rises to the highest office in the land.
THEN what do we hear - well...
HE IS NOT EVEN AN AMERICAN CITIZEN!
HE DOESN'T BELIEVE IN GOD!
HE IS A SOCIALIST!
HE IS A RACIST!
HE IS A COMMUNIST!
HE IS A TYRANT!
HE IS A DICTATOR!
HE IS DESTROYING AMERICA!
HE IS GONNA TAKE MY GUNS!
And yes much much worse that I won't put on here. You would think he would be promoted to young blacks as a role model, but instaed he is demonized. I mean damn I guess he is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't?!?

He's a great success story for himself. Good for him. He hasn't done a whole lot to advance this country, but he's done well for himself.

What exactly should he be looked up for? He's been terrible for the economy/employment and has continued with Bush's warmongering. He's also stepped up the war on drugs, being much harsher on medical marijuana than the past few presidents. Besides Obamacare, he actually his policies have been pretty similar to Bush in his second term. Do you think Bush should be put on a pedestal?

I would prefer minorities (as well as whites) to idolize entrepreneurs, inventors, scientists, etc., rather than politicians.
