Music in 1971 that was so far ahead of its time. The complexity of what these guys were doing is still mind boggling some 40 years later. What a collection of REAL musicians........ LINK

I just read "The Fragile = Greatness", but it's a pretty good double record FWIW.

One of my favorite classic rock albums. Close to the Edge was also a classic. Prog gonna Prog.

My bro, quite the guitar player, would play "Mood for a Day" from Fragile a lot back in the day. Recently I asked him if he could still play it--he picked up the guitar and kicked it out. Steve Howe--Mood for a Day

Fantastic!! These guys were all unbelievable musicians. I was lucky enough to see them live a couple times in their prime. Starship Trooper 1973 Live

They churned out The Yes Album, Fragile, and Close To The Edge in like a year and a half. Amazing. BTW, their current tour is to play TYA, Close To The Edge, and Going For The One in their entirety.

REALLY weird. However, I loved the way Bob played guitar. The guy was like an primary idiot savant.

They used to never perform that song live. Well, Live At Montreux 2003 FTW: LINK There's some great interplay between Wakeman and Steve at the end. I've got the Bluray, and the whole thing's great. See also Steve's fingerstyle adaption of "To Be Over": LINK
