re: OT Runners: How often do you replace shoes?

I've had my Brooks since September, so I should be at the 6mo/300mi mark next week. Guess I should start looking soon

HIjaCKING THE THREAD!! Whats some good nike running shoes to get?...

Air Pegasus 29s are pretty legit.
And you people are dumb. You can easily get 400-500 miles on a decent pair of running shoes.

I run in Addidas Adipures. People may know them as the lame toe shoes. I have around 450 miles on them and they have held up fine. I'm wondering if anyone has any idea when one should rotate these types of shoes. They seem to last a long time.

in my experience, you will feel it in your legs when it is time to replace your shoe

whether that comes at 250 miles or 600 is dependent on the runner

Truth.

I tend to normally get between 550-750 miles. I only once went under 500 because the bottom of the shoe basically peeled off.

If I have shoes with high mileage and they hurt me one day, then they are done.
