Whomever said it is a moron. It's illogical to define conservatives in terms of the status quo. If the status quo in our society was Marxism then conservatives would advocate for radical change and complete removal of the status quo.

Apparently this extremist that wrote the article being referred to in the link is Arie Perliger him and another guy wrote a book called Jewish Terrorism in Israel. He's just another Muslim sympathizer that needs to be dealt with accordingly.

Not that suprising, I was in the military (National Guard) and our officer core left alot to be desired. I will say the Natty Guard is much different from the regular army, but all the same, they get basically the same training and courses required to become an officer. It is the enlisted men and women as well as the non-commisioned that are the back bone of our armed forces.

Not really, this is basic political nomenclature, reactionaries want to return to the past, conservatives want to maintain the status quo and progressives want to make changes to the status quo. That is basic political thought,
When the soviet union was breaking up conservatives wanted to maintain the union, progressives wanted disunion and the reactionaries wanted to return to a more authoritarian past.
After the 1917 revolution the reactionaries were the Whites, the progressives were deviationist which could have been either left or right depending on the direction of their change.
BBTAIM, that was a poorly prepared piece of crap if the WT is accurate in its reporting.

1. People are not monolithic in their opinions and we are dealing with only three labels
2. Besides a world view there are also individual issues

There are no problems with my argument.
You are actually supporting my position that the SQ standard is irrelevant.
The founding fathers wanted change from the SQ. Therefore they must have been liberals. But today's liberals hate the FF... bunch of dead white men with slaves. Today's conservatives revere the FF.
