What do you think of the Manti Teo revelations and how it will effect his being drafted.
I think him being bowled over by Lacy time and again combined with this imaginary story of his losing his girlfriend has to make him practically un-draftable.
Your thoughts?

Well the fact that he wasn't nearly the best LBer in the nation this year stat wise doesn't help. He won't be the best LB in the class so I don't expect him to be the first LB to go, or even to be a 1st or 2nd rounder, but past exposure alone will get him drafted.

I have a littl e bit of a different take.
Teo may have been a victim, alright, but the perpetrator may have been the Notre Dame PR machine which 1) was more than anxious to hype him for a Heisman for which he wasz not qualified and 2) which has historically been inclined toward the tear-jerker-hero by line throughout their history , a la "Rudy", "win one for the Gipper...", etc.
Do not dismmiss the likelihood that ND's athletic department was complicit in this fabrication

The OP makes no reference to Minter whatsoever. This thread is basically about Manti Te'o. His other thread is strictly about Texas A&M winning a national championship. There is specifically a More Sports Board, so that the Tiger Rant, where we would actually like to discuss LSU Sports, doesn't get bogged down with shite like this.

IDK, maybe his religious beliefs prevented him from developing experience with girls in highschool causing him anxiety later on. So, when he was able to get involved with women his inexperience made the idea of relationship over the internet more appealing.... found out that he had been victim of someone elses amusement, but was too humiliated to come clean with it.
IDK.
