One of the biggest necessary evils of a touchscreen is a lack of tactile response.

I personally don't think it's as big a deal as most make it. LIke all the blackberry users that laughed at the iPhone when it first came out. Most are using full screen android or iPhones now.

Full physical keyboards are more efficient than touch screen keyboards, but I don't think this new tech will prove to be near as efficient as a full physical keyboard. Most people will probably be just as good or better off without it.

Aren't you acting just like an old blackberry user? Dismissing new technology and claiming the current status quo as the best.

Not really the first of anything, just a demo of the technology.

Looks awesome. Will prob have some issues though. The keyboard will prob get worse over time as it is used. More chances of mechanical error methinks.

I'm waiting for a visual projected screen that I can touch in mid air and move around 3d objects with my bare hands. That would be cool.

Yes.

Looked pretty wild to me. Regardless of real world application, looked amazing, but I have a feeling this is going somewhere.
