This is unbelievably stupid. HE IS THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. HIS CHILDREN AND THE SCHOOLS THEY ATTEND NEED TO BE GUARDED BY SECRET SERVICE AGENTS AT ALL TIMES. NOT DOING SO WOULD BE A HUGE SECURITY RISK TO HIS KIDS AND EVERY CHILD IN THE SCHOOL. THE MOST POWERFUL ELECTED OFFICIAL IN THE FREE WORLD AND HIS FAMILY MUST BE GUARDED WITH THE BEST AT ALL TIMES.
The NRA is out of control and people have lost their minds.

No, not at all. I'm saying that claiming the president is hypocitical because his kids are guarded by secret sevice agents while 99% of other schools are not is stupid. Also I don't think the NRA and conservatives are looking at the big picture. Their answer to school shootings: A gigantic government effort that would involve adding countless government employees and spending billions.

The intellectual dishonesty displayed by Washington should have been at least queried by someone in the media. A petition shouldn't be required for a tough question.

How is the NRA 'out of control'? What specific contribution to this petition did they make?
It is a simple inquiry into why gun free zones are not used for executive protection as they are in many schools across the country.

Because his kids are so much more important than our kids man!
I wouldn't expect intellectual honesty from Fenwick, you're fighting a losing battle. The fact remains, the president DOES need armed guards to protect him and his family from others with guns. THE SAME THING HOLDS TRUE FOR ANYONE ELSE WHO FACES A CRIMINAL/MENTALLY ILL INDIVIDUAL WITH GUNS.
