I think most (maybe all) commercial flights go into Montrose. It's a fairly long drive on non-major roads -- Telluride isn't the easiest place to get to. There's a much closer airport, but it might not handle anything bigger than a Gulfstream.

They (Stmbt and Hayden) are all very far N in Colorado...I am surprised there is not an airport closer to Telluride/Durango, etc as I thought those were pretty far south...I have been to Telluride and Dur. but it was in the summer...gorgeous area...Ouray was a cool little town....

Just got back from a week in Park City . It's our favorite . Very easy to get to . We skied PCMR . It was very nice . I like it better than the Canyons and Deer valley .We had 1-2 ft. of fresh powder and the thing I liked was the long runs . A couple up to 31/2 miles long . Sun Dance Film Festival going on this weekend so it's a good weekend to ski .
