With the commitment of Tim Williams to Bama, I began wondering how many La. recruits have committed to Bama since Saban took that job. This is not meant to be an indictment of CLM, just an observation of the facts.
2007
4* DE Luther Davis - West Monroe
2008
4* CB Robbie Green - John Curtis
2009
4* RB Eddie Lacy - Dutchtown
4* WR Kenny Bell
4* DT Darrington Sentimore
2010
None
2011
4* WR Bradley Sylve - S. Plaquemines
2012
5* S Landon Collins - Dutchtown
4* MLB Denzel Duvall - Bastrop
2013
4* DE Tim Williams - U High
3* WR Raheem Falkins - Carver, N.O.
I realize a lot of "Yeah but....."s can be applied to a some of these players, but it remains a fact that La. players have made a significant contribution to Bama's championship run.
And here's what bothers me the most: in the six years prior Alabama recruiting classes (2001-2006), one La. player was signed.

I'm sorry. If you have a 4* DE going to high school on your campus, you need to get him. This shite needs to stop.

By the way, only one of those really contributed and that was Lacy. It has been well documented that Lacy did not have grades and was a huge risk.

Y'all are missing the point. It's about locking down our state. Regardless of how many actually pan out, I would rather Lacy, Bell, Collins, and Williams be on our roster.

Devall also wasn't born in Louisiana. He played here for a couple of years but he isn't from Louisiana.

Your point sucks, 1 player in Lacy who had grade issues so LSU stayed away.
