Any news on Brian Roberts? (Posted on 1/17/13 at 9:18 am)
With Gordon still under restrictions, this could be a significant hit to our depth. Hopefully Sloan is coming up to speed. Mason seems to have stepped up as the 3rd guard, but numbers 4 and 5 are tedious at best. Does Austin start seeing more time at the point or does Sloan gobble those up?
The first question is, "How long will Roberts be out?"

CBS Sports.com has him listed at day to day. So, out at least a week for rest

It might be a fair mixture of both Austin and Sloan getting time at the point. Probably for right now though, Sloan will get the bulk of that time since he is more of a point guard than Austin.

Sloan only logged a single minute last night. He was here last year, so the system shouldn't be totally new to him. You would think he would have gotten some time last night if he's going to get the bulk moving forward. I'm actually thinking it might be a hot hand type of situation with Greivis picking up a major part of the slack.
