You are under the impression that the black market will not have these guns if you ban them from the legal market. Banning guns only gives more products to the black market and makes them stronger.

This anti-gun guy literally tried to make every exact point Piers Morgan makes minus the accent. He even dropped the "well then why shouldn't Americans have nuclear bombs line."

He did. Disrespect for firearms rights can be spawned, driven, and/or perpetuated by ignorance or irresponsible use, as in criminal use, whereby the unlawful user should lose the right to own or use a firearm, not law abiding citizens...
...or through fear of something one knows little about, as with the case of Piers Morgan and this individual.

Right to self protection is an inalienable right protected by the US Constitution meaning it is a recognized by our founders as a right given to us by God. It is a natural right that they protected through the constitution. Libs fight tooth and nail over "the right to choose" so I choose a semi-auto weapon of any form. If that happens to be a 1911 .45acp or an AR-15 then so be it. It is my choice and right--period! Amend the constitution if you disagree. Until then--don't tread on my right to defend myself in any manner I wish. Besides that, an AR-15 on the range is a lot of fun. It is a viable hobby. Plenty of reasons to own one. Why does someone need a motorcycle that goes 170mph? Just sayin

You are right. And what I HOPE happens is that your ability to have one and shoot one becomes more regulated. Should not be taken away. Your AR should not be confiscated or "bought back" (will they buy them back at todays near gray market prices?), but it should just become more difficult for people to own something that is ONLY good for killing people. And people in large numbers. That is my position. If you want the luxury of shooting an AR-15 or similar it should be a luxury.
