I read the whole conversation and Barton lost serious respect in my book. I always just viewed him as a "character," but he took it way too far on a public domain.

Hmmm, those Sneijder rumors are not going away... I def think there is something to this...
That said, I don't necessarily think we'll sign him ($), but I'm betting there has been some mutual interest/dialogue

Currently, but he'll be taking a pay cut where ever he goes... The question is how much of one he is willing to take...

Same here... Ive "heard" that his pay package would probably need to be supplemented with various individual and team performance bonuses... No way they pay him more than Stevie
They did just clear up Cole's and Sahin's wages... With the transfer fee being so small, I'd not want to longer than 3 - 3 1/2 years... There is still a part of me that doesnt want to get burned with a huge contract again, if he doesnt play to his abilities (I act like its my money)...

Like the idea of Sneijder but has many have said I don't want to get burned again ... Would rather wait and try to get someone younger & smaller wage like Eriksen

I watched the replay of the CFC v Saints match last night... Wouldnt mind us putting a bid for the young LB Luke Shaw... pretty impressive for a teenager
