Absolutely. I have one set up right now with about a 1/3 of Devin Townsend discog to give to a friend of mine who I got interested in him.

i'm trying to share with a friend that doesn't have spotify or dropbox , not everybody is so techy . there's something giving someone a mix is special, and then finding that mix cd later on and relistening to it.

Those are the two most obvious reasons. I'll use dropbox or spotify if I'm sending something to a friend in Chicago, but it's way easier and faster for me to drag and drop to a thumb drive and physically hand it to a friend. Flash drives don't expire, either.
